Victorious has gone through to the next stage of the Eurovision Song Contest


Rich Edwards has earned his place as Writer/Producer of “Victorious” in the Final at Friends Arena in Stockholm on March 9th to decide which Artist and Song will represent Sweden in the Eurovision Song Contest.

There will be 10 finalists and the Winner will Represent Sweden in Tel Aviv May 2019

Rich has co-wrote and produced the track along with four other writers - Melanie Wehbe, Dino Medanhodzic, and Johanna Jansson.

Turn Back Time is the new single from Rich Edwards featuring Emelie


Rich Edwards returns to Gemstone Records with his brand new single Turn Back Time featuring vocals from Emelie. This pop-infused track marks his fourth release on Gemstone this year!

Turn Back Time features catchy vocal verses and harmonies from Emelie, warm melodic plucks, and emotional vocal chops that will keep listeners humming non-stop. Rich Edwards also includes punchy baselines, ethereal vocal effects, and light drum fills sprinkled throughout the track.

Since releasing the first ever track on Gemstone records 'Ego' in April, he’s continued to provide hit after hit with releases such as ‘Tell Me’ and his smash collaboration ‘Funky Freddy’ with Justin Mylo receiving huge support from artists such as Martin Garrix, Afrojack, and Blasterjaxx. Rich Edwards also had a breathtaking performance at Revealed Night ADE earlier this fall.

Steve Thompson has written a Children's Book - The Magic Balloon

As well as making excellent music, Steve Thompson has branched out into the world of literature and written The Magic Balloon, a children’s bedtime story book

Illustrated by Cyrano Denn the story follows the the adventures of a boy and his amazing magic balloon.

Rich Edwards releases ego on Revealed Recordings' new sub-label Gemstone


Signalling the first release on Revealed Recordings new sub label Gemstone, Rich Edwards kick starts the new imprint with the huge new track ‘Ego’ feat. Victoria Voss.

Announced by Hardwell himself during HOA350 and broadcast live from Amsterdam, ‘Ego’ showcases the labels drive to put forward fresh, pop-tinged material of the highest calibre.

Hardwell stated 'There is so much good music being made nowadays and the way to release music has become a lot easier. With the platform, team and structure we have built with Revealed, we want to take the next step with the label with building and branding Gemstone. We will not only be servicing the club/festival sound but also focusing on electronic music that appeals to a much bigger audience. I'm excited with this new step for my label and can't wait to work with all the amazing new talent out there!'

New Music heading your way from Rich Edwards and Steve Thompson

It has been a busy year here at C-Side Music, but it will be well worth the wait.

Rich Edwards has got some new music heading our way. It will be the first release on a new sub-label of Hardwell's Revealed Recordings. Details are still top secret, but a full announcement is due over the next few weeks.

Steve Thompson has also got a new single, which is due out at the end of February. Called The Birdman, Steve describes the track as a "psycherckindiepop tune!"

He went on to say that it is a "blend of all the things I liked from the 60s, 70s and 90s. It is based on the true story of one of the most inflluential music men I have met, and he is currently residing at her Majesty's pleasure unjustly."

Steve also has a new album to follow, which is due out in early summer.


Vapers Cloud - The new album from Steve Thompson

Steve Thompson's new album is called Vapers Cloud and you can listen to it on Spotify.

Steve said, "It’s an album about feeling content, a resting point while gathering thoughts and breath before the next stage of life’s journey. Figuring out the whys and where’s of our own lives more than the meaning of life itself. "

Steve Thompson's We Didn't Start The Fire EP is out now

Steve Thompson has released a new EP, We Didn't Start The Fire, featuring five new tracks.

The idea for an updated version of Billy Joel's 1989 song came when Steve was watching the news and the first line popped into his head.

Liverpool Sound and Vision described the title track:

"Steve Thompson captures the feeling of Mr. Joel's song and gives it a tremendous boost, the world is still on fire, there are still people out there willing to fan the flame of hopeless lost causes, but Steve Thompson is there to remind us that the world is worth saving, that there can be justice for all."

The Truth & Justice Concert - The Royal Court, Liverpool on 28th August:

The Truth And Justice Concert is a massive fundraising gig for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign and many other charities.

An incredible line up of Liverpool bands are on stage at Liverpool’s Royal Court for one night only!

Confirmed lineup: James Walsh (Starsailor), Ian McNabb,  The Real People, Western Promise, Gary Clail Sound System, Ian Prowse And Friends, The Sums, Dave McCabe, Chris Kearney, Mark Coyle, Joe Symes And The Loving Kind, Oranj Son, Jamie Deary, Beatnik Hurricane, Phaedra, Steve Thompson And The Incidents, Paul Replay Leay, Jamie Webster

All proceeds from the gig will be shared between a number of Liverpool charities. These include: Alder Hey, The Anne Williams Foundation, Claire House, The Hillsborough Justice Campaign, The Liverpool Everton Food Bank Initiative, The Owen McVeigh Foundation and Speedo Mick.
